Chacon Leather (AKA Belts and Buckles) is a family owned and operated business started in 1972 in Chacon, NM. In the beginning they made primarily belts and some small leather goods (purses etc.). From 1976 on they began making only belts. In 1986 they began producing silver buckle sets. Hence; Chacon Belts and Buckles. That marked the beginning of a change from a two-three person operation to an organization employing 8 to 10 persons. It remains so today. They are a wholesale manufacturer supplying fine retail stores throughout the U.S. They emphasize high quality materials and craftsmanship. They also value customer service. The quality and artistry of their products exceeds their monetary value. They have and always will stand behind their products. Defects are repaired or replaced free of charge.
